this was redacted from an idea had on 2025-10-27, revolving creating a cosy space for work play and sleep.

i’m currently using it as a spotify playlist, where i curate songs that not jut i like, but there’s a particular feeling and vibe towards it, which i have yet to be able to coin a name for.

at the same time, acosyroom is meant to also be an account for me to document my journey creating that cosy room of mine, perhaps it can even evolve to an account documenting interior and design, and home slow living - perhaps even a couple account?

updating this note on 2026-02-25, redacted some information but i had a sudden inspiration at work today

  • came across this newsletter called workspaces and it’s basically a newsletter featuring desk setups around the world - okay nothing exactly new but it seems like he is shedding light on creatives or people around the world and what they do at the same time
  • i also see a affiliate sale for certain desk products on his newsletter home page so i assume that’s one avenue of his monetisation. the creator of workspaces is ryangilbert, who works at beehiiv and i found out about this from his own twitter bio and again it proves the point to me that he can be working in a newsletter company, or it makes sense that his time outside of this is also related to the newsletter business, similar to how as a marketer, my free time has to be something related to content, social media or just marketing in general. it can’t be too drastically different.

  • i suddenly have this thought - what if workspaces is almost a direct mirror for acosyroom? room set ups, makes sense for an architecture student - i may be on to something?

i’m updating this note, again i had this idea in work and i came across this newsletter called workspaces which is already more than a side hustle at his point (6 years in) - so basically acosyroom can be similar to workspaces which shares about desk set ups, but instead encompasses a room - can go more into architecture, interior as the medium just like how koochester or school of hard knocks ask what do you do for a living or the supercar as the hook and medium but essentially the ad slots and potential monetisation route or value to others down the line are just the owners or person behind.

in the case of acr, possible monetisation route is defo furniture and interior, maybe even architects or designers, home owners, real estate agents or product sellers offering different services as well.
